Purchase Ledger Clerk - Erith Head Office

Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 depending on experience

In line with our continued success, we are keen to employ a Purchase Ledger Clerk within our Accounts Department.

The ideal applicant should be able to work in a small team processing 500+ invoices per week, both stock purchases and general overheads, using a SAP based system.

The main responsibilities and day to day tasks will be:

  • Matching of purchase order, goods received note and invoice on the SAP system
  • Checking approval of invoices
  • Posting invoices to accounts
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Monthly supplier payment runs
  • Supplier reconciliations

For this role you should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP preferable
  • High level of numeracy skills
  • Work on own initiative and implementing process improvements.
  • Attention to detail
  • Working on own initiative
  • Effective team player
